Fly to the airport, board this menace and continue polluting. Maiden voyage Titannica? Fingers crossed....

May it sink on its maiden voyage.

Arguments can be had about the emissions and environmental impact of cruise ships (I mean, just look at this comments thread), but when I look at that thing, all I see is a giant floating petri dish. Just imagine all of the STDs and other diseases that’ll be stewing onboard. Nope, not for me. I’ll stay home, thank you.

Honest question to people who take Cruises on these things.. Why? I’ve done one cruise in my life so I dont have a lot to compare it to, but the one cruise I was on (Royal Caribbean) was horrible. Small rooms, LOTS of people, lines for everything, shitty food.. Did I just have a really bad experience?  I look at this

Cruises are for garbage people. /thread

Just because it’s an ocean vessel, that doesn’t mean the designers needed to place a giant jellyfish on top of it

Lawless Floating Diarrhea Factories that are also bad for the environment and local communities where they dock.

Hard disagree. When something is objectively harming EVERYONE ON THE PLANET, you’re goddamned right I’m going to tell them to fucking stop.

A lot of angry defenders of cruises in here. Maybe they should go all in on the residential units, preferably on ships with no internet access.

If you ever went to Crowed Walmart and said, “I want to spend a week with these people,” then cruises are for you!

Nope, they breathe plastic, I mean water.

The best part about cruise ships is that it gets the people who would actually go on a cruise ship away from the rest of us.

Fucking republicans again. Every single one is a piece of shit.

Doc fees are an insult to everyone’s intelligence, but dealers here in PA would never give it up. Right now i believe the state has capped them at $449, so of course every dealer will charge $449 for mailing a piece of paper. Legal theft.

It’s this kind of behavior that will lead to direct to consumer sales.

i just bought a car and that Doc fee is way out of hand and they refuse to back off it, I told the guy I have a Ivy League educated lawyer who doesn’t charge that much to file paperwork.

Wait to fly out of state to buy a car only to have dealer during closing to add $5,000 to the paperwork oh yeah and a $600 doc fee.

I get that most car buyers are at a disadvantage when buying a car every so many years. Buyers don’t know all the tricks of the trade.

Let them keep their junk add-on fees but in exchange, outlaw franchise laws and allow free market auto sales.

Might just be my area in Colorado but it is super easy to avoid the dealership crap. If buyers are paying it then that’s on them. No one is forcing you to buy a car let alone from a dealership. Look at the price, ask to remove all the BS, when they say they “cant” then ask them to reduce the car price to account for
