The Personal Responsibility and Work Opportunity Act in 1996 (PRWORA) was part of the Republican Party’s “Contract with America”. Eliminating welfare as we knew it was an Republican Party platform goal. Republicans designed and wrote the bill, and the gas behind the impetus to “welfare reform” was the dog whistling

This will not end well for them. They’re going for false and defamatory damages against a newspaper, and directly stating that they want the amount Jeff Bezos paid for the Washington Post in it’s entirety.

Motorola’s Moto Z3 could be updated to work on 5g, but I would wait for the 5G phones -ATT, Verizon, Sprint have said they will have them 1st half of 2019, T Mobile says 2nd half 2019.

That he describes 5G as... smarter...is scary. I agree that they should just tell him they’re all on 11G at the White House now. You just have to spin around widdershins 3x before it works.

5th generation- 5G- mobile communications exist. Some cities had US rollout in 2018, US cellphone companies will roll out the rest over 2019, worldwide it will be complete in 2020. Overall, it’s good that the negotiations over cellphone standards exist- when cellphones were newer, every phone had a different charger

It’s partially that the Sanders campaign ran a “only true progressive” campaign...forgetting, for example, that universal healthcare has been on the Democratic platform wishlist since 1948. In fact, Richard Nixon wanted universal healthcare in America, in the 1960's. Nixon!! You know who got criticized for going to

And disinformation! Manure must be spread to be effective, right?

Look at the number of new accounts already. The plus is that we don’t have to engage with anyone arguing divisiveness or Democrats bad etc that made an account this last week or so to just spread manure, like Alvin did. And yes, he disappeared just after the election.

You think Sanders can do that? Function as the soul of a party he does not care to belong to?

Could be that Bernie Sanders has it in him to be a spoiler in the general election against what I assume will be initially a big field of interesting, qualified Democrats vs a couple of rogue Republicans, Trump (unless he’s otherwise occupied with the reality avalanche of law coming his way), and Gary the Libertarian.

Hopefully he won’t run. I think Bernie had his best run in 2016. In my opinion, he already split the vote then, by refusing to concede. He’s a known personality now, not a relative unknown running in the end against a woman and a TV shyster.

I get your point. While I like that Bernie did pull the Democratic Party left in 2016, I personally think he split the vote in 2016. I don’t think Sanders will get the attention he got in 15-16. Then,, to many people, he was an unknown guy with no baggage saying mostly progressive stuff. He’s not an unknown now. Now

Bernie-if he runs- should never run as a Democrat = my whole point.

Bold move for Bernie. He ought to run as an Independant this time, as that is the party he belongs to.

Women over 50 with atrial fibrillation, to boot.

Fake News! is the only song Trump knows, so he sings it a lot.

I had an aunt that just started screaming when I drove down the Queen Anne counterbalance hill into downtown waterfront. And that was a nice spring day! No sliding.

The suspense of the looong horrific slides is intense!I just drove back from my local Safeway- which has a short hill out of the parking lot on one side. It’s not that steep, but it’s in shade all day. I know someone has slo mo slid down into the 4 way stop below, screaming in their car.  It doesn’t matter that these

I did not know about KnitCrate- thanks! I love Malabrigo, and Madeline Tosh yarns. They both tend to sell right out.

Thank you!
