I know a lot of people who work for the state in KY and they’ve had a hiring/wage increase freeze for quite some time now. perhaps they should focus on that instead of this stupid bullshit but no, let’s just appease the wingnuts and distract them with shiny objects while the state goes to hell.

This argument is so tired. Red states are not a monolith. There are plenty of people here in Kentucky who are extremely liberal and places that go blue.
