This was ruined for me when he was arrested for beating the crap out of his girlfriend.

Differing opinions are great and awesome.

god dammit I wish I hadn’t known about this. usually Jez doesn’t bug me at all but of course they’re blaming “tailgating culture.”

They (and Kansas) discussed cancelling the game but opted not to

Not here. They unite, like they do after tornadoes, or bombings of federal buildings, or bombings at football stadiums, and face it together as a family. Football is king here and Boone Pickens (or Memorial, in Norman) is its castle. Cancelling the game would be an atrocious idea for a lot of reasons.

My favorite thing is currently “I hope she dies in a fire! Pray for the victims at OSU!” Literally calling for her death while asking for prayers.

Both OSU and Kansas officials discussed cancelling the game but the outcry would’ve been absolutely insane.

Whole lotta people who don’t know jack shit about Oklahoma Strong in this thread. I get it. Football is LIFE in Oklahoma, and OU and OSU are family first. It’s part of the healing process. This Sooner is thinking of her OSU family today.

oh, heavens no

Sure as hell not in Nashville.

ESPECIALLY if it was a disabled/injured veteran.

Then you’re just as shitty a fan as any shitty “bandwagon” fan you’re complaining about. Jesus Christ.

I know there’s no expectation of privacy in public but there is something just megacreepy about people filming/taking pictures of people they don’t know without them knowing about it.

Good game, Horns.

this is a fresh, hot take that I’ve never heard before

whoever ‘shopped that cover hates them

Because she’s a woman.

Julie DiCaro is a hell of a human being and watching her go through this is making me so god damn angry I can’t even see straight. She’s been pretty even-handed since the news broke (sup, Cubs and Hawks twitter) and still her mentions are full of some of the grossest dudebro bullshit I’ve seen in a long ass time.

why is he in Cleveland spouting this shit?

This has been going on for three years, and it seems the cardinal rule of Crossfit is “do not shut up about Crossfit, ever.”
