Yeah, my perspective on this changed a bit over the weekend after talking to my brother-in-law, who is a recently-laid-off programmer with 20 years of experience writing code and managing other coders, and we were both pretty surprised that he has been having difficulty finding a job in the months since.

Just to play devil’s advocate here, the fact that they’re giving all the laid-off people six months’ worth of pay and healthcare is probably something that could have been mentioned a bit further up in the article. One might even say that is a more noteworthy bit of information than the fact that a random emote

Even when you can get in, it seems a bit unfinished. I was watching a streamer play earlier and saw quest items that would bug and not be able to be completed and NPC’s casually walking off balconies.

There is no more dangerous trap for the auto enthusiast than a cheap expensive car.

I would say it’s more than simply honoring The Legend of Zelda for being revolutionary for its time. It’s that the gameplay still holds up.

The Hyundai Staria concept van (in my opinion) seems to be borrowing heavily from the Dust Buster’s vibe, which I don’t necessarily think is a bad thing.

I was very concerned about their graphic design skills when my scrolling was revealing this unfortunately-placed ad...

I don’t know if there is any specific clause in the agreement that would allow the arena to be renamed early in the event that the company goes under, but the deal was supposed to last 20 years.
