I was almost worried Ramsay might accidentally stab himself in that scene. (Then I remembered it was Ramsay and didn't care.)

♫ She'll be slaaaaiiiaaaain on her wedding day… ♫

He is. His careful navigation of Stannis' ideals and Melisandre's machinations proves it.

Yes, the only scenario I can imagine is a Stannis on his deathbed (or a dying Stannis on a battlefield) who explicitly obligates him. But that would also require Shireen to be dead, and that's certainly a high price to pay.

I would still love to see Ser Davos Seaworth somehow end up on the Iron Throne, although I suppose he would prefer to finally get home to his wife. He is by far the most decent and down-to-earth character, kind of like a smart version of Ned Stark.

I presume his skin color was not the reason Will wasn't picked. But since this whole reward - unlike others - is all about the optics, it did stand out to me.

I thought it was kind of hilarious that the one person they didn't pick for the chance to play for the reward of looking magnanimous towards poor darkskinned children was the only black guy around.

NBC: Nothing But Chicago

I second the delight about Laura Donnelly; I wish the show would have focused on Jenny running Lallybroch for a whole episode or so, maybe as an extended flashback covering her life between the near-rape and Jamie's return.

In the Canadian aftershow, the show creators were really proud about the "reveal" of both clone-variants being related, which is very odd, because duh.

The A.V. Club

It's actually not Jonathan Pryce, it's Pope Francis (as himself, basically).

They also refer to her as "Curly Sue" at one point. Nice to know people in the early 22nd century are still familiar with this cultural icon of the late 20th century!

Speaking of reactions and facial expressions, Conor Leslie (Natasha the computer) is a treasure. There are tons of subtle little things she does that are just perfect.

I have never watched nor cared for any American Football outside of this show (or basically any other sport), but I still enjoyed watching FNL. It's first and foremost a character study that happens to take place where football is played.

It's just four hours long! Or are you saying it's already around 9 pm where you are?

"Report back to me when it makes sense!"

The fourth season of Enterprise is probably the best Star Trek produced after 1994. (But the third is some of the worst ever.)

(Even Kirk would be a more correct answer to "Kirk or Picard?" than Sisko.)
