Winning a 6 year Senate term now and turning around and starting a campaign for president 6 months later is not a good look. No way does Beto get replaced with another Dem if that happens.

I’ve been thinking about the Senate race in Wisconsin in 2016 to give myself a glimmer of hope about Texas. Russ Feingold was consistently polling mid to high single digits higher than Ron Johnson throughout the campaign. Then come election day Ron Johnson wins handily.

There are pro-Ted Cruz ads all over Jezebel for me. I wonder if its bc I keep googling “beto ted polls”.

For those who can’t understand how people could possible rationalize letting Cruz stay in office, look no further than an article in which the author flat-out doesn’t believe the person who says point-blank that they aren’t running for president.
