I think that’s what has me head shaking at this. Up until that point, I was like “yeah okay this all sounds very reasonable” and then went WAIT why does he want a percentage of profits that doesn’t sound normal in conservatorships?

I think the main concern being raised is that he REMAINS a conservator, rather than a trustee or just power of attorney or something that’s less strict but is still something of a security blanket. It’s a LOT of power to have over someone’s life, even if that person is severely mentally ill.

Yeah those last two points are what I don’t get. That it was allowed to continue and that her father was appointed. Her father should be CONSULTED on these things, on the basis that she has an allegedly good relationship with him, but it seems really off that he was named and REMAINS her conservator.
