I want ur Equinox prices. I’m at the Century City LA club and it’s $290/month. Thank god it’s closing in 6 weeks and I can ghost on it without feeling guilty lol.

My goals to be an Eccentric Rich Lady and Beyonce are merging and I literally could not be happier about this.

Oh god so do I. It would be so absolutely batshit insane to watch.

Me too hahaha :)

YES, THIS.

He’s kind of an ass about it, but he IS right, AND you are right. The library is a great place to start, even better than LegalZoom, and I highly recommend people go there or go to their county offices and read about what tax and estate law is in their area. A lot of attorneys will also give you a free consultation,

I kind of dread and kind of don’t dread how much my lawyer is gonna charge me for my estate planning docs. But she has also handled my parents and handled my will when I turned 18 AND is gonna do my brothers once mine is finalized so I trust her enough that I’ll pay whatever she asks and she probably won’t over-charge

My trust is actually based on WA law!!! My lawyer recommended doing it that way, actually - she’s worked in both CA and WA. I can’t remember how we justified not basing it on CA law (I think because my trustees are washington residents? at this point there are like 3-4 different states involved and oy vey) but I’m

That’s fair - I’ve seen people NOT plan ahead though and things can get pretty rough for a while, especially if you don’t consider what you will then be paying in taxes in the future. I had to figure out (since my brother is my primary heir) if I was going to have the trust just basically pay out to him or have it

Yeah I didn’t clarify that if he has a trust he likely has a pour-over will, which can basically just say “everything not in my trust will go into my trust upon my death blah blah blah.”

He probably had a trust - if you have a trust then you usually don’t need a will (unless you want to get very specific about who gets what and you want it to happen PRIOR to everything becoming part of the trust estate).

What do you think the chances are he has a trust somewhere with a pour-over will? I just can’t believe that he wouldn’t have some form of estate planning document with how hard he fought to maintain control of his art, but I totally understand why some people just can’t face their own mortality. That would take care

I’m in Cali, so I think I’m just permanently on “probate is hell” mode. I’m also not a lawyer - but we all agree on the pertinent point: as much as TMZ wants this to be salacious and gossipy, it’s just a sister trying to preemptively protect her family and brothers estate *in case* no will is found.

Yeah this is all on the up and up. Replying to bring this thread to the top, since I think it’s important to clarify this is not money-grubbing, this is a sister trying to protect her brothers estate from going into probate, which is a special level of hell.

A boob tuck was part of my reduction, and HOT DAMN did it make a difference.

I think she IS the new Doctor.

I want to watch this show with you, I feel like that would make it about 150 times more enjoyable than it already is (very enjoyable, at least to me).

Clearly Ms. Burton is a time traveler and MUST BE STOPPED before we are inundated with white frilly dresses from another time!

Apparently! Next we’ll learn that Heidi is actually Beyonce in disguise working to take down the GOP from the inside!

If Rachel Roy is the Zodiac Killer, and Ted Cruz is the Zodiac Killer, does that mean that Rachel Roy is Ted Cruz?
