Yeah apart from romance movies I feel like a lot of women would consider that a red flag. The whole thing is very love bomby

It’s creepy. Clothing is personal. It’s the expression of a person’s sense of self, values etc. Someone buying an entire wardrobe of clothes for an adult without them even seeing it first is very strange, like completely disregarding their autonomy as a fully grown human as if they’re an accessory or doll. Also, it…
How do women feel about the hotel suite full of clothes? I am a man, and I think many, if not most women would feel as if the man is trying to make the woman incur a sense of indebtedness to the man. Also, buying someone clothes isn’t that far off from telling someone what to do. If the clothes are awesome, clearly…
Not really. You generally aren’t allowed to fire your gun into the air, especially not within a town or other concentrated area.
Fresh off the Jan 6th anniversary, where all kinds of police used all manner of de-escalation, including running backward in the midst of ACTUAL violence because they wanted to preserve life, what else do we call police shooting Blacks FIRST then praying there’s no huge protest but...hunting?! This officer on a call…
Having watched the video - the house was targeted because this guy was still shooting when the cops arrived. The scary part is he had just asked his wife if she wanted to do more shooting with him and she said she’d just stay inside. Had she and their child also gone out again they could all have been shot.
It took 15 years for the Nazi party to come into power with similar actions as already happened in the last five.
Wow, hit close to home, huh?
the whole thing seems like a petty, passive-aggressive “fuck you” to Floyd, his family, and everyone else who has ever argued for defunding the police (or just reining them in a little so they’re not killing unarmed black people all the time). Pretty standard response for an American police union.
The obsession that a lot of Christians have with seeing people tortured for eternity because they believed the wrong things is absolutely demented.
All religion is fake. Bless her stupid, hateful fucking heart.
Defunding police IS supporting them. We’re taking things off your plates you’re not equipped to do, ya humps. That leaves you far more time to be ineffectual at all the OTHER things you aren’t equipped to do.
Although Duckworth may not have stated her case in a manner that would satisfy some of those who detract and throw brickbats (SR), I know exactly what she meant by the words “positive self esteem about himself.” I too was one of those boys. My mother was a teacher and my first grade teacher (who was white) could not…
Hypocrite. Out of one corner of his mouth:
It wasn’t a stampede, it was a crush. Basically, so many people were moving towards the stage and with such force trying to get through the crowd that they were putting immense pressure on the people already in the crowd. People became packed so tightly that some of them could not even expand their chest cavities to…
But they fool themselves by thinking that look of befuddlement is actually the look of a keen and insightful mind. The mind of a breathtakingly intelligent bean (see what I did there?).
Who would have guessed that when these chucklefucks were wetting their pants over “CREEPING SHARIA!” that it would actually get worse.
Exactly. If you open the hood of your car and a ton of smoke hits you in the face, you don’t say opening the hood made the smoke appear. It was literally always under the surface...
I think the twitter quotes are interleaved in a complicating fashion; consider that paragraph with the one’s immediately preceding and following, and perhaps it’ll be more clear.
My two cents: I think it’s probably the case that academic/scholarly papers and writing are (generally) written by academics for other academics; so if something seems difficult to read, I’m generally prepared to entertain the possibility that it’s difficult for me because it wasn’t written to or for me, and there’s…
