Aside, for a minute or two - I actually could not make out if that was Shelby or Dylan in that newspaper photo.

It's technically correct, but just so clinical/technical. There's just no romance in viewing the decades that way.
I didn't give the year or the hiatus time too much thought one way or another. But now that you mention it, I'll be surprised if the timeline of this show crack the 1970's in any significant way. The show seems destined to end with the decade.
I agree. I didn't think it was too bad but it felt like two episodes worth of story crammed into one. They should have either cliff-hanged on the taxi driver's death, some problem getting out of Hell, or Sam/Bobby being stood up in Purgatory. It all felt too easy.
Yes. And they both have hallucinations of nagging parents.
I'm very okay with no chemistry there. I see them as using each other: her to protect Norman/herself, him to maybe get her into a compromising position at some point. Assuming the basement thing isn't a hallucination, I think the interesting story between these two is that Norma has him pegged as a bumpkin when he's…
I haven't seen that movie but now I feel obligated to.
I'm kind of digging how you left out fans of Psycho.
When they were hiking I was getting more than a little annoyed at him for not being more concerned/helpful when she started to cough, right away. At the very least, he could have slowed down a bit. She practically had to scream-cough at him before he even noticed. I was kind of wondering if that was intentional, on…
I'm in the camp that is liking this, and I agree with those that say this is a big step up from last week. It was slow but I'm okay with a slow burn.
SPOILER: Tonight (and every night) on the Talking Dead: a comedian, someone from production, and at least one actor that seems vaguely annoyed at the contractual obligation to be there.
DY-NO-MITE!!
Pop! Pop!
Merle: Portrait of a Flesh Eater
I hope it is less than that. But I can see them painfully dragging this out until the finale.
If that shitbag Smallville got 10 seasons, this show deserves at least that many.
I'm indifferent on the issue of looks, but I found the acting of the Vet to be a little stilted.
I was more just riffing on the weird look on Sam's face toward the end of that scene. I actually don't mind Supertramp, although I don't like that particular song too much.
Agreed. I think being King of Hell gets you a few level-ups. Some weird extra mojo stuff happened when he possessed Kevin's mom too, awhile ago.
Ah, okay - there goes that theory. That's probably a good thing.
