I also didn't see that Ryan now views his father better, only that he's got to deal with the dad in one way or another and stop running from the confrontation.

Remar seems to be developing quite the actor's portfolio of terrible, nagging fathers with a dream-like quality.
New showrunners, although I think the basic writing/production teams are still in place.
What difference would a Sybian make? Quinn already has all the intellect and personality of a giant dildo.
Not sure if you wanted a serious answer to this question, but I believe those are the eyes of the Muppet Show, Season One version of Miss Piggy. They were possibly like that for a couple of the earlier seasons, but S1 for sure.
Vae?
A Hannah spinoff would have less Dexterverse baggage than one for Deb, so I agree that's probably the better choice.
Years ago, I decided Deb will likely kill Dexter and bury all the secrets with him. It's the only way to end the show without shaming Harry, ruining Harrison's life, and exposing Miami Metro as complete and total fuck-ups.
@avclub-b914bdb99e8d32c33d280f517f51b7e2:disqus Thanks - I didn't see a preview. I'm sort of glad that's the case because it has the potential to be interesting, but I'm also a little disappointed that it was so obvious, so early.
But I do enjoy making fun of this show and posting about that. So, yeah, I'm going to continue to do just that.
All in all, this show would have been better if they didn't rely on one "Ghost". A regular and continuous rotation of Harry, Bryan, Rita, Doakes, and other notable deceased characters would have been better. Although they might have avoided that as it might be taken to suggest that Dexter has a conscience.
Maybe she is collecting ingredients to give Dexter a vaccination against psychopathy.
They should replace GhostHarry with Wilfred.
I also thought that maybe they just gave Jamie the night off to placate commenter logic. Plus, now that she's had her one night off she probably won't get another this season.
Maybe not, but it's a big favour to those of us who are just watching out of habit, hate or for a good belly laugh. The sooner this starts and ends, the sooner we are all free of it.
I am not so sure she is a threat. I'm pretty sure she collaborated with Harry to create the code and helped to make Dexter what he is.
@avclub-4dae7032e72753a6c9d24a71307f561f:disqus - if I remember correctly, I accidentally placed a period between the elongated F word and the "is" in that sentence, which Discus read as a link and auto-formatted it that way (to a site that actually existed, embarrassingly enough).

Yes, and entirely humourless. As if written by and for robots with the emotion chip turned off.
I'm thinking that she might be the one (or at least on the the team) that goes to get Nick, since she's got powerful European contacts and fake IDs at the ready.
