I can't remember if the knife kills the demon, sends it back to hell or just ejects it from the body. But I had a fleeting thought that Meg might return as Unicorn McVeterinarian.

I had the completely opposite reaction on the exchange between Naomi and the other Angel, at the end. I thought the new one was reporting in to Naomi with a shrug, that she'd looked for Cas and he is just completely off the grid. (perhaps due to having the tablet).
At the end, Sam really looked like he wanted to say something. I couldn't tell if it was because Dean cut the conversation short and Sam still had stuff to say, or if Sam was a little bewildered and frightened by Dean grooving on Supertramp.
I just heard on the radio how the young hipsters are taking to Walkmans again, so it can be stretched to fit.
I have not seen the Van Sant version. Is it set more recently/not in the '60s?
Seriously. I think The Following is so fucking terrible. I can't even hate-watch it for laughs.
I was thinking something similar about distancing itself from the movies.

Aside, I think it is obvious that none of those writers share their homes with cats. 'Familiar' or not, I just can't buy that a cat would ever feel obligated to follow any sort of order, ever. In fact, I'm pretty sure they disobey all direct orders on some sort of general cat principle.
Maybe Dean was a dog person at some point, and then soured on it after being ripped apart by hellhounds.

Dominique!
I'll see your "Why didn't LaGuerta call 911?" and raise with WHY did she go the shipyard without backup?. Especially since the guy actually called for help, she had legitimate reason to ask for it. Lazy, lazy, lazy writing.

Completely agree. It's not like Nina was a true representation of Nina either. I also liked the good- and bad-angels-on-the-shoulder of Carla vs. Nina - but the angel in black and the devil in white.

"Sometimes you get the Bear, sometimes the Bear turns you in for an illegal drone strike and a plot to assassinate a sitting US Congressman."
