Korea didn't hate Japan nearly as much before the nationalist government of Park Geun-hye started fomenting anti-Japanese sentiments to distract from domestic issues plaguing Korean society. I'm sure that things will settle down once she is out of power.

I often here people say that my profession, translator, will be replaced by robots, but I don't see that happening until I'm already retired. Machine translation just can't understand context or nuance to produce natural language.

I want a CEFR/Cambridge/IELTS type of test. They have them for English, so why not Japanese? I have done translation and interpreting, but I certainly wasn't ready for that when I passed JLPT 1.
