Because he clearly wants one. Well maintained normally aspirated 12As and 13Bs are pretty reliable. And first gen RX-7s are some of the cheapest vintage fun you can have.

I think I’m going to start searching Craigslist in Detroit and nearby areas to find you a first gen RX-7. I can tell you won’t be satisfied until you have one. They get mentioned often in your articles. You’ve written more than one article about them. You need one. You need a rotary. Admit it. Come to the dark side.…
Their attitude towards their food sounds much like the regional chain that got it's start here in Tampa, PDQ, which stands for People Dedicated to Quality. I eat at PDQ a lot.
Chevrolet is on a mission to destroy anything that actually looked good or at least average.
Twist that knife a little deeper, why don’t you?
It is 9:51 in the morning, but we have already reached peak Monday. Thanks, Patrick.
Since I still think about this at least once a week:
I love Mazda, and I’m not going to comment about the lack of a new Mazdaspeed 3. That was fully expected. What wasn’t expected was Mazda still talking about bringing a diesel to the US. They’ve been talking about this for nearly five years and haven’t pulled it off yet. Let it go.
Not enough stars for this comment.
It was probably just time for the plate to be replaced. I think it’s every 8-10 years here in Florida. I got a new plate this year and can’t remember the new sequence either.
Fancy Kristen may be in the holiday spirit and didn’t buy the entire run, thus saving some for some of her equals*.
I hate being that pedantic, but Ohio and Michigan wouldn’t have had enough electoral votes to flip the 2016 election. Clinton still would have needed 4 more electoral college votes.
Cheese is good, but it’s something I’ve never put on my Sloppy Joe’s. I usually make them about once per month; my two boys (ages 7 and 5) love them.
I-10 between El Paso and San Antonio is easily the most boring route I have ever driven in my life. It goes on forever and you think you will never escape it. The scenery makes one decent change as you go from green and humid to tan and dry. The only redeeming feature is the 80 mph speed limit (but not at night!).
I’d say “Paging David Tracy”, but who am I kidding? We all know that is way too clean for him.
I would definitely take my 1991 Mazda RX-7 Turbo. I’d start in the Pacific Northwest and take a winding route back home to Tampa, FL. Here’s an approximate route:
Can not unsee now. Thanks, I think?
Former USF FSAE participant here. In more lighthearted news, you guys have done ome damn fine work since I left. Probably not a coincidence!
My heart says yes, but my brain says no. I listen to my brain more now that I’m in my mid 30s and have two kids. CP
Bowls of shit are still bowls of shit. None of them look good and neither does a Mustang II.
