My first car was of the same cheap variety as this Geo. I had a 1992 Hyundai Excel. It had a keyed gas door, no power steering, AC that almost worked, an anemic engine, manual crank windows, and a lovely tape deck for my to put my Discman adapter in to. How times have changed.

How dare you body shame that Geo! Maybe it’s seen better days and could have used less road salt in its diet, but it’s trying really hard to get back out there.

My grandmother is in her 80s and probably on her second or third Avalon. In other words, you’re not wrong and I fully support your decision to call this car meh because it most certainly is.

This article was fantastic on so many (Power!) levels.

Over 700 hp from a 2.0 liter turbo V4. Wow.

When I saw the blue one, my first thought was the front reminded me of a Dodge Charger.

Sure can. I’ve been on there a few times, just never really posted. I’ve got some much better photos as well, these were just some quick ones to throw on Jalopnik when I saw the post.

Just those two, but I could probably fill a third that size if I had the space.

I got a deal on that one on ebay as it came with no box. It was a little dinged up but well worth it. I’ve had a couple I really wanted slip away and I’ve also sold a few I wish I hadn’t.

I have a way more diecasts than I currently have room to display. I mainly stick to 1:18 and 1:43.

This thing was so gloriously 80s I had to know more about it. It was released in 2015. I’d say they definitely nailed their inspiration.

I’ve been in this situation before. I ate an early dinner and some friends made last minute plans to meet up and hang out. I wanted to go out, but there was no way I could eat a second dinner, so I had a drink or two (it was probably two, it’s always two) and tipped 50% to make up for some of my lame ass friend’s

This has been one of my favorite beers since our local Publix started carrying it about six months ago.

They’ve been trending up for a long time and may be a bit early for your cutoff, but third generation Mazda RX-7s (1993-1995 model years here in the US) are going to keep rising.

Oh, yeah, I’ve got regrets. I wrote a whole post about it on Oppo last year.

Not sure they could come up with 3.5 gallons of urine.

100 miles to go? They will be in Moab before I’m drinking my first after-work beer.

While concerning, it’s also an inspiration. David Tracy is a damn automotive wrenching hero who all Jalops should aspire to be more like*. Or less like, if you’re even farther over the deep end, but that’s beside the point.

Kimi is awesome. I hope he drives forever.

Going into the last pit stop, I knew it was feast or famine for the #55. I was there and had a tailgate speaker we rolled everywhere to listen to the race. We heard the problems getting restarted after every pit stop.
