As a follow up to my own question: The ICE will still be around for years and years. But with our increasingly electrified future, there needs to be serious thought as to how to include these users in any sort of tax base that helps pay for infrastructure as existing gas tax revenue falls.

The obvious question is how do you handle electric vehicles? They still use roads.

I’ll join you!

Bad move by the WEC. To cause conflicts with drivers who have been there and will continue to be there in deference to one driver is not a good way to move forward. Yes, I understand the WEC has never had a star with the fame of Alonso, and I was happy to see him join the series too, but it’s not a good look.

I read this story on my local news site earlier and thought for sure it was a headline from The Onion. Upon further reflection, this story is just too weird to even make up.

The Rangers just released a letter to their fans that essentially said they were giving up on this season and about to commit to a full rebuild, so I’m pretty sure this is the timeliest sponsorship ever.

Meh, I have no issues with what Kristen wrote. Jalops as a whole are always asking for funky niche vehicles that could potentially be giant losses for automakers. This is one such vehicle, although it’s not entirely new since it’s been around in fleet sales for a while.

Exactly. I think it’s a great product to fill a niche, but for my particular situation, it wouldn’t work as a daily.

This would be perfect for the four times a year that I could use such utility.

As far as exterior aesthetics go, the C4 is towards the bottom of my “most attractive Corvettes” list.

My wife likes to wash her car too, but never understands my system. I went so far as to color code the microfiber towels and out them in containers labeled “exterior cleaning”, “interior cleaning”, “exterior detailing”, etc. She always asks “which fucking towels can I use again?”

Pretty sure my wife would happily send my never ending project car into space.

The RE5 is definitely out there. And the RX-8 is definitely random. While they are fun, there’s nothing inherently special about them. I think he may also have an NSU Spider, which is probably much rarer than the Cosmo.

The sheer fact you parked your own car with Jay Leno’s collection already makes me insanely jealous. That’s a pretty cool thing right there in my opinion.

You should definitely try a sous vide. They are great. The most amazingly juicy chicken breasts. Perfect medium rare steaks. Once they finish in the sous vide, just give them a quick sear and it’s good to go. There’s a lot you can do. Before I fried my chicken wings for Super Bowl Sunday, I put them in the sous vide

For many RX-7s, Mazda recommends two different spark plugs for the leading and trailing positions. For mine, it was NGK BUR7EQ and BUR9EQ. Lots of people go with different heat ranges or even all the same, but I was staying stock as I had no special situation to do otherwise. Go to the auto parts store. Year, make,

Two running cars for $2400?! Yeah, they both need a TON of work, but with two of them, you can probably cobble something together. In fact, that would be my end goal. Take the nicest of everything and part out the rest. Not a project for the faint of heart, but they’re neat little cars.

All press Stingers seem to be red to distract from that awful side reflector design they went with.

Boneless “wings” are a huge fraud. Call them what they are - chicken tenders or breast meat with way too much breading dipped in sauce. Can they be tasty? yes. Should they be called wings? Heck no.

As I started reading, that was my number one fear.
