I hope Bubba can find a ride. The kid can drive. He ended up in the wrong place at the wrong time this season just as that team started to put it together (#6 in Busch, er, Nationwide, no, Xfinity).
I saw this on Twitter too and it was amazing. Quick turnaround and they took back off for JFK. Crazy!
The NOAA Hurricane Hunters could very well be one of America’s most unsung heroes.
I chuckled when I got to “Christ on Gas”. I needed that since I’ve had to keep my eyes out on Irma.
The grid penalties are stupid.
I think what will be most interesting to see is what happens in 2020. It would be very cool to live in a world again where a manufacturer can compete at Sebring, Le Mans, and Daytona for overall wins. I’m not sure what those rules would entail, but it could happen.
If I ever go to Germany, this is on my bucket list. If I ever go to Japan, the Mazda Museum in Hiroshima is also on my bucket list.
No way. There’s a lot of things wrong with this. But the ultimate kicker is C3s rank near the bottom of my Corvette generation ranking list. I don’t find them attractive.

Wow.

It’s going to be hard to do lines off the fender with that bright white paint.
Ah, the Ro-80. I believe that and the Mazda R130 were the only front wheel drive rotary powered cars ever to make it to production.
I definitely see where you are coming from. Not all of have access to a late, but the creativity of melting down a coffee jar is great.
I can, but I’d rather not.
The cushioning on the front seat looks like it’s ready to swallow me. That being said, CP. I don’t want to drive this thing.
There’s no sound quite like a four rotor in full song. Also, kudos to Mazda for letting their IMSA prototype drivers come out and play. I don’t think that was the original plan.
The Maxwell House shifter bushing is probably the greatest thing I will read today.
