What has been the hardest thing regarding getting into racing? There is so much competition and getting a seat is really hard unless you have capital, so with that in mind, what would you recommend to someone who karted for 10 years at a top level and stopped, but wants to get back into racing but cars rather than…
I think its also important to note, the difference between the two motors is not 0-60 times. The difference is that the V8 will get from 80-130 with easily. Where as the V12 will do that and then sit extremely happy at 150 just moving along as if nothing. The V12 is for the higher end speed and just pulls away from…
May he rest in peace. Hell of a business man.
I feel like many brands have just been exploiting Cuba, taking advantage of the fact that it is now a “trendy, hip place,” Monster being one of them. I morally find it wrong, many have said that videos like these bring to light how Cubans live, and that these videos do “good,” but I find it ridiculous. Thats just me!
We had a few Mercedes 500 Sl’s in 2003 onward. They came with a luggage bench in the back and a seatbelt for the luggage. My parents would have us sit back there. It was awesome!
They will probably run the cars until they can no longer be supported, unless some mechanics can get their hands on manufacture computers. Which is really sad, I wish the mechanics in Cuba had more opportunity to prosper and be able to afford the computers in order to service more cars and make more money.
Of course there is, which is a tiny fraction of the people on that island, not the general population. The people driving the Chevys aren’t going to be able to afford a 3 series and drive them around, considering a Peugeot 205 costs around 200K over there. While I do agree that anyone that has been used to working on…
Its not like they will be able to afford them anyways!
Im glad some of these videos are coming to light so people can really see how detrimental the Castro regime was to this beautiful island. This just shows how communism does not work and how it essentially left the Cuban people stranded for decades.
I do agree with that “I’m sorry but if you buy a FWD CLA, you are simply paying for the badge.” I do think that they are a bit nicer than the honda/toyota, but not worth the price. Personally I would go for a CC if I were in the market for a car of this price, but I fully agree with your point.
While I do agree with the CLA bit, as I don’t think its a great car. Even then, a CLA is much better than any Honda out there, although I do think its overpriced. I don’t agree with saying that an S-Class is the same. Yes, the cost a good amount more, but with reason. The power, comfort, and attention to detail in an…
Im sorry but you can’t honestly compare a Mercedes to a Honda or Toyota. An S class does not compare to anything else on the market.
Mine have been pretty boring
From what I understand overtime a police is rushing to an emergency they have to have sirens and lights on. I think they wouldn’t use it during sting operation, but thats besides the point. I googled if they are allowed to respond without sirens but didn’t have much luck, i may be wrong though
While that may be true, you can’t argue against the fact that it is not the car news that the people here actually look for. Every other automotive website does not talk about politics, except for Jalopnik (If my memory serves me correct, and I may be wrong, this was not the case before). And no, he did not “barge…
Bravo. Its news regarding protests and it just so happens that uber participated, but I think we all know that this isn’t the type of news that Jalopnik is known for...far from it.
I saw this and I thought, “ what does this have to do with cars”
Way to ruin the movie! haha. I enjoyed the read, the image with Lightning and the human creeped me out though
He also owns one of the rarest Ferraris out there. its a 275 GTB Competizione
