I couldn't agree more. I get the cons of the scooters, and if anything its the irresponsible users. Although its amazing what you can do with a scooter. I was in DC for a conference last year and was only free from 10PM onwards. I grabbed a scooter and went around town looking at everything important. Pretty cool!

Have you seen the course that Imsa and Champ car ran in Miami? I was a fan of it, provided some great racing as a spectator. Long beach is a great track thats ran today as well. 

While its a shame that a street course in Downtown is no longer in the talks (a course that has been run on in the 80's to early 2000's. It will be very beneficial to the sport as well as fans.
