@DiskoDanyo: Christ, man. Relax.
@DiskoDanyo: Christ, man. Relax.
@Luke Plunkett: This is a tough time for a lot of folks. Doesn't surprise me to hear about job losses. Tragic.
@tzaketh: Yeah, this game sticks out like a sore thumb on the list. Ugh.
@lockes_key: Hahaha! This is a good way to think about it! I, for one, don't believe that gamers/consumers should be loyal to a particular company. It's the company that should work to gain OUR loyalty. And what better motivator than competition.
Fascinating...
@Ramza69: Wow. You are a madman!
I never played the first two, but that trailer for 3 looks really impressive. I hope it comes out in the US (with English subtitles, please!) soon.
That guy's work is awesome. Kinda reminiscent of Ralph Steadman, and the guy (or gal) who did those ultra detailed, but somewhat grotesque images of Donald Rumsfeld, Dubya, and other administration officials. I don't know that person's name, unfortunately.
Hmmm... it could also be the lousy global economy, and Japan has a pretty nasty recession going on in particular, no?
@Tcata: I'm a "Link to the Past" fan myself, though I don't know if Mr. Aonuma worked on that one or not.
@Ad-hominem: I also had error messages when trying to download this. Hope it gets resolved soon so I can have my Turkeyboy/Headcrab fun this holiday!
Well, regardless of Jaffe's spin, I am looking forward to God of War III, big time. I love the way the game designers (and this is where you have to give Jaffe a ton of credit for laying in the groundwork) are essentially writing their own version as to how Greek mythology was destroyed — by a pissed off man named…
@ca$h: Yeah, I have to agree. It does seem like Nintendo is returning to its 1980s roots of supreme arrogance and bullying. Though I don't think they are quite there just yet, but it's getting closer with each passing day.
@NeoChaos: If I recall correctly, around that time, EA also wanted to shore up the NBA, but the league told EA to go fuck themselves and kept the NBA open to video game competition.
@masterhobbes: No. It's not. I am not a fan of the original Killzone. At times, I thought the game was unplayable with horrible AI.
@LittleBigTrumpet: I wasn't ragging on it, but merely stating (and lamenting) the console's shaky existence thus far.
Boy, it's been a bumpy two years...
God, I'm going to say it. I hate Sony.
@DontTouchMyDaughterYouFilthyGa...: Ah, this is the funniest post that I've seen on Kotaku in quiet a while.
