@Andon: All right. I have to ask, what is this a reference to? Yes, I know, I'm out of touch.

@jigglypoofs: I know this is a little off topic, but isn't the MGS 4 issue more a problem with Konami and their servers, as opposed to the PSN?
@Arttemis: Same here. Throw in Will Arnett as RAAM.
One of the better and more fascinating Kotaku entries in recent weeks. Nicely done, Plunkett.
Even though Jaffe is no longer a Sony employee, we need to get on him in order to get Ratner off this project. Sweet Jesus.
Hirai is simply stating that the PS3, according to their game plan, will linger on for about a decade into it's total life cycle, but that doesn't mean it will be their leading platform eight years from now.
At last, a true sequel to Jumping Flash!
@parad0x360: What don't you understand? I thought I was pretty straightforward — I was against Achievements/Trophies (categorizing them as one entity) because I felt they were arbitrary and in some way commodified the gaming experience.
I have to say, I've been against the idea of Achievements for a long time. Mostly because of some irrational hatred for the damn things (and I feel that Achievements/Trophies are arbitrary and in a way, commodify the gaming experience), but this stuff sounds really interesting.
@cxplorer: Uh, no.
@L-Wolf: Great way to look at it. Astute observation indeed.
@Wolfers: Agreed. That screenshot was pretty fucking badass. This game seems to be coming along nicely.
Sounds brilliant.
I'm hoping Jack's "two years" comment was more a hypothetical and not a subtle hint at another delay...
I, for one, hope Sony keeps the title. It's too damn amusing. Hopefully we'll have some game play clips... perhaps at TGS...?
Looks nice. Gotta love that bad voice acting!
Very slick.
Believe me, no Hollywood director is going to acquiesce to the whims of a screenwriter, regardless of the writer's prior involvement with the intellectual property.
GTA IV is simply the necessary transitional step forward that gaming as a whole, and the franchise in particular, needs to take in order to carry the same (or similar) dramatic narrative weight that films, novels, short stories, etc., already possess.
@DaftDethMonkey: Agreed.
