It is pretty simple: If they report on Climate Change, the outlet loses its fossil fuel advertising money. If they report on GOP lead voter suppression, the outlet is accused of having a liberal bias. Reporting on Kanye and Trump is pretty much a ratings/clicks bonanza.

I wouldn’t be surprised if the US had a hand in this assassination.

At the end of the day, never Trumpers like Kasich would need to rely upon the same donors as Trump relies upon so even if they make a move to run they would be told to sit down and shut up. Bloomberg is a billionaire — like Perrot — that doesn’t need anyone to fund his campaign so he is more likely than a Kasich to

It wouldn't surprise me.

I am not worried about Bloomberg in the 2020 primary, I am worried he will run a 3rd party like Perot and take just enough moderate independents votes away to let Trump -- or whoever his replacement will be -- squeak by and win a second term.

I literally made a comment here about how the Supreme Court would start to uphold gerrymandering and disenfranchisement laws just yesterday. I didn’t think that it would happen this soon.

Didn’t he become a Republican once more after he became a Democrat?

I wouldn't be surprised if she either runs for if Trump/Pence aren't seeking re-election or she is gearing up to primary Trump. The timing is perfect for both a Senate run or a Presidential run.

Sadly, I was refering to direct votes on legislation and not presidential elections— those three million people don’t reliably vote every year.

I still use a blackberry — the Blackberry Priv — though it runs on an android operating system. I mainly use it because of the option to use a sliding physical keyboard. I am a proud plebe!

If we held direct votes by the population, we would be a 3rd world theocracy within weeks.

Well, one of us isn't living in reality and it isn't me.

Back in undergrad, I would gladly accept those “college" tshirts the credit card companies would hand out. I had about 10 or so of them by the time I graduated.

This is why taking the vote of certain groups for granted is dangerous — especially when one governs or acts to that group’s detriment.

I was speaking generally.

Because SCOTUS never ignored caselaw before....

I hate the hell dimension we have been forced to live in.
