Wow, that judge is a dick. In my experience, so long as the request is reasonable and the other side signs off on the request, judges tend to nearly always approve such requests.

This isn’t that unusual. Extensions of deadlines tend to be approved by the court and/or the other party/attorney if it is the first request and the extension is for a reasonable time period.

I had to sit my parents down and explain to them why reverse mortgages are the absolute worst and why, unless you are a widow with no family, no one should ever take out a reverse mortgage.
