I think that if Manchin wins this election and a Dem wins in 2020, he will flip to republican because there will be some very liberal changes if such happens. He wouldn’t be the first politician in recent times in WV to do so. He is not worth it.

I didn’t mention that to re-litigate 2016, I just mentioned that to show that liberal populists are very popular in West Virgina. Sanders has had rallies in WV since the election and the venues were packed and sold out.

The source you linked to said that Manchin is likely to vote with and for Trump’s agenda 93.2% of the time. Please don’t tell me that voting against Trump’s agenda 6.8% of the time makes Manchin a good Democrat that should be supported.
