I want it to be clear: I am not upvoting your comment; I am upvoting your name.

Brave, or masochistic.

Weird thing is, I am strangely sad after watching that film as well. Not nearly as much as "Grave…". It might have something to do with the fact that THE MOTHER IS DYING / DEAD IN BOTH FILMS OH MY GOD

I have heard it talked about before, but I want to reiterate just how powerful animation can be. There is no way this could be tolerated as a live-action film. There is something about the animation that, while still allowing us to feel for these characters so deeply, in some ways we get to have just enough of a

Absolutely - right there with you. I thought of my little sister when watching this film and I felt such deep anger and loss afterwards - the former because I couldn't save her and the latter, well, that's sort of a no-shit explanation.

I have seen it three times, but never more than once alone. That being said, I literally just bought the Blu-ray off of Amazon, and I will probably revisit it again soon. Why? Not a clue. Sucker for crying fits, I suppose.

At least 26.8 times, pal.

Would have been better if it was Jaime and Bronn.

The part where you mentioned Halloween 3. :(

Woah. This room just hit its safe sass limit. Careful where you tread.

How am I not myself?

I honestly wish I could share this sentiment. But knowing that so many Sons of the Harpy would have been standing around them, I was more concerned for his (and the other's) safety. I wish the show didn't completely ignore that - took me out of the scene.

And his Pleasant Pants Proboscis!

Or if you burn your sweet daughter's steak, amiright??!?!
