God I hope this game exposes the hustle of Star Citizen. Starfield has everything that game has promised and more and done in a fraction of the time, with a fraction of the budget, and with an amazingly small fraction of a team. If Starfield is 50% as good as it looks it shows that scams like Star Citizen and Elite

The only thing worse than people that vomit out idiotic memes are people that wallow in vapid negativity. Of course the worlds aren’t going to have curated content every 50 feet. That isn’t the point. Real space exploration will be even more barren. It’s giving us a great game, a great story and a massive playground

Am I the only one that’s stoked for the Indiana Jones game? Also, we are definitely seeing a lot of Starfield. They’ve said as much recently and they always do the big unveil of their games the summer before release. Even though it was delayed, I see little reason for them to dump those plans. It’s being delayed a few

Exactly this. 99.9% of consumers are dumb and 99.9% of consumers are lying posers. Most of the people complaining about microtransactions here will support them. That’s not an “opinion”, that’s a fact backed by the record profits these things have made these companies. We have microtransactions because we support them

I have a thousand others to choose from and can still call this one a douche bag.

On the one hand, it’s great that these companies are exposed even though 99.9% of consumers are still so fucking stupid that Blizzard will make billions off this game. On the other hand, this guy comes across like such a raging twat that I’m kinda glad he’s been suckered out of thousands of dollars on a meaningless

That’s Id, not Bethesda. Bethesda Game Studios make Elder Scrolls and Fallout single player games. Bethesda Softworks is a publisher that publishes games by Id, Bethesda Game Studios, etc. The fact that this has to still be explained in 2022 to assholes that don’t know they’re two different companies is insane.

I’ll never get the irrational Bethesda hate. Fallout 76 released a mess and they’ve owned that. They did something they’ve never done before in an engine that wasn’t designed to do it and today it’s a decent game. Aside from that they’ve just given us some of the best and most iconic videogames since the early 1990's.

Nice to see this and it’s great to hear the commitment to quality. The original trailers looked just okay, this looks really good. It’s also easy to forget these are three people doing this on their own time and money. The people comparing them to companies with hundreds or thousands of employees that need to be paid

The solution is simple, unionize or stfu. Until workers get back to collective bargaining, I have no sympathy for any of them. Unions are how we’ve gotten the few rights we have as workers compared to other western nations and somehow we let a bunch of rich assholes make us believe that if they’re just given free

I disagree completely. F76 had a disaster of a launch, but it’s in a pretty decent state right now and even without a private server/subscription, you can play it solo and it plays like the other single player games. I think some of the quests are even much better than 3 or 4 and you can really change the outcome of

It’s absurd and it sounds awful. The only way it could possibly work is if real world money was used. I could see a virtual economy forming in that regard, but it wouldn’t be the gaming we love. The problem is I never though loot boxes and card packs and all that other microtransaction crap would last, but it makes

This screams of ageism. The company seems to be shuffling the older staff out to make room for younger people nobody knows. I’ll never get ageism. I’ve never found something more appealing because the people that were doing it were young or of my same age, whatever that’s been. Experience and personality are what

I don’t care what actors, writers, or other artists do in their private life. If they made good content, I’m going to enjoy it. Especially since in many cases the outrage is laughably about dead people. I don’t care if Lovecraft is racist because he’s long dead and his books are some of the best horror stories every

Those holding out hope theaters will never die are the same type of people that insisted video rentals were going nowhere. Theaters will always be around as sort of a niche market, but they were dying long before the pandemic started. The recent surge isn’t a sign of things to come, it’s just a natural response to so

It won’t be the poster child for anything. Nobody will remember in six months and I didn’t even remember who Smollet was when I first read your comment. People have the attention span of gnats and in a few weeks there will be something else for the knuckle draggers to gawk at.

So where are the articles discussing her physical abuse towards Depp? I never hear him referenced as a “victim”. Even if there was abuse both ways, then they’re both victims. They’re also both mental assholes, but that in itself isn’t a legal issue.

Nope, I hate Musk and I don’t believe Amber Heard based on evidence. People who believe anyone claiming to be a victim are just as crazy as people that commit these crimes.

The only confirmed “evidence” I’ve seen or heard was how Depp lost part of his finger because of her physically attacking him.

These articles keep coming despite the fact that most of the evidence coming out that she lied and she may have even been the abuser. The only side to pick is the truth, no matter what your feelings are on a topic. The truth is that she was likely the abuser and yet he lost his career.
