I think the parts about the car being less unique or more boring than the Mustang and Mopar offerings is silly - the Camaro is far more ditinct than those.

The fact that they made such a low-profile reveal tells me all I need to know. These are showroom status-sales, not passion sales. The M-Division put their C-team on the development of these. Hans in the M-Division said, “are you fucking kidding me? ... Johan! You’re no longer designing door handles, you’re leading…
In a surprise move, BMW displayed its new X3 M and X4 M performance “Sport Activity Vehicles” for the first time in…
.5 seconds is an eternity in F1. If a secret is worth .05 seconds it will be copied.
You’ve been a Porsche fan since the late ‘90s, but you liked them “when they were less about brand snobbery”?
^^This guy has never driven a porsche before. What a completely idiotic comment!
It’s funny, I never really compared them even though I used both as daily drivers. They are just so different. To me the E39 was perfect in every respect. The down low torque was great around town... and the S62 is just perfect for that chassis. It was such a perfectly balanced car.
The e60 M5 was like a bodybuilding…
The really ingenious part is that Murray knew every other team would pick up on his device, so he put an empty aluminum box in the car with a few wires sticking out of it. Every other team focused on the box, and nobody noticed the hydraulic suspension line.
You ever look at it from another point of view ? Most OEMs actually don’t want you to buy their manuals etc. That’s why the manual cars never get the same attention or marketing as the autos. It’s been a slow poison towards autonomy for years now, not just because autos have gotten better. They won’t suddenly decide…
I think that sums it up nicely, Jeremih. Especially the design language. A 2018 car is not drastically different from a 1988 vehicle.... but both show little to no resemblance to a 1958 vehicle.
Yup. Addressed my error previously.
yo mama
Fluids that are left to sit will go bad too. The car didn’t come from the factory with 437 miles, it’s obviously been run.
Different cooling system setup on the e39 M5 (much more robust). I owned both the e39 m5 and the e60 m5... as well as an e39 525 wagon
...and the yearly oil changes.
Ikea wood. Hahahahahaha!
Except storage and maintenance costs...
The e39 m5 doesn’t have an M button. It has a sport button which changes throttle response a bit, but doesn’t for example make it go up 100hp (from 400 to 500hp) like the e60 m5.
without trying to sound facetious, have you ever owned one?
