Autobahn missile. Big, good space, rides on rails. The M5 used to shrink when driven, but not so much anymore. The M760i is also great, but is truly massive.

It made a lot more sense in the E39 era. Back then, the 3 series was quite compact- you needed a 5 series for tall adults to be comfortable in the back. Now, the 3 series is the size of that generation 5 series. The 5 series is like the old 7 series.

It’s getting pretty close to the size of a non-li 7, or maybe the 7 is getting smaller.

You sir have never driven an F10 clearly. In comfort mode it is a 7 series luxury road yacht. Push the M1 button on the steering wheel and it turns into the performance beast you expect from an M car.

How can you possibly know what it’s like to drive? By all accounts the F10 drives just as well as the E6o despite the added weight because the suspension and chassis work much better together. And this will be lighter, stiffer and more balanced than the F10...

It will not be as good to drive as the E24/34/39/60, but with that much power, how could it not be entertaining?

Yeah, that’s what this type of car is all about - not everyone wants to eat babies like Lexus, but it’s getting less understated with each generation, though. Same goes for the Audi and AMG cars, too.

I like how understated it looks. The M5 has always been good at that.
