Delicatessen is what you wanna watch.

People really piled on him for this. I saw it everywhere. I don’t understand that. For me, the story is very clearly indicative of his mother being a toxic figure in his life.

I mean you could say “fingerblasted” but I dunno if the context justifies using a casual expression, ya know? Confusion as to what is meant there seems fairly rare.

“(Fallon is called out by name as knowing she was a junior in high school while she was drinking in his company.)“

I get it, Quentin. My biological mother will never see a fucking thing from me.

this doesn’t sound like “worrying” to me, it’s exactly what it was labeled in the article: mocking. really disgusting that so many people here don’t see a problem with a parent addressing their child this way, and even worse, believe that the mocked child owes part of their fortune to the mocking parent.

It’s amazing how often people will spout out some dumb comments without reading the article.

Well, anyway “Elvis Cadillac For Mommy” is the band name of the day.

Nah. And I’m sure there are more instances like that behind the “straw that broke the camel’s back.

Not really. If she didn’t support him, why should he support her?

Well, boomerangs do have a tendency to come back.

Well said. One (of many) of the stupid-ass arguments that drives me nuts is, “LUKE TRIED TO KILL HIS NEPHEW! WHAA?!”

There’s a massive difference between “how does this farm boy know the Force in like a week?” and “how does the daughter of one of the most powerful Jedi in history know anything about the Force decades after we last saw her when we knew her brother was training people in the Force?” as far as not spelling it out is

I loved the fact that Luke had gotten crotchety and sarcastic in his old age (and come by it honestly, too). The whole notion that he should act exactly the same way when he’s 60 as he did when he was 25 is ridiculous.

Wait, what? Finn doesn’t have much of an arc? The guy starts the movie trying to run away from the war and ends the film ready to commit suicide for the rebellion. His arc is very clearly about learning to care about things other than saving his own skin. Also, the Canto Bigt stuff isn’t pointless. It’s a chance to

Whatever else the movie did wrong, the idea of ‘TLJ ruining Luke’ from ‘hardcore’ fans is the most hilarious misunderstanding of Star Wars characters, lore and philosophy they could muster.

I get why some people don’t like the idea of Luke considering killing his nephew when he realized he turned to the Dark Side. It’s very shocking revelation. However, it’s important to note that the moment he considered it, he immediately felt shame for what he did. But by then it was too late as Ben had seen him

This movie is fucking awesome and an excellent addition to the Star Wars saga.

Interestingly, I was with you on Team Liu—and have been every time this story has come up, because Murray acting like an unprofessional dick is well documented—but then I read the The Playlist quote you provided. Physically attacking someone for being a dick is bullshit.

Team Liu. Score’s 1-1!
