One of my girls is friends with two brothers who both have autism. When they were in pre-school they would only eat mashed foods, then around 3 years old, only mashed potatoes. One of the concerns was this type of condition would develop, which is where I first heard of it.

My husband was 24 when my autistic son was conceived so I don’t know how much merit that theory has. My son is also is a picky eater, but his pickiness is all about food textures. I can usually get him to eat certain fruits and veggies, once I figured out what textures he can handle.

I think studies have shown that forcing kids with ARFID to eat foods that they can’t tolerate only makes the condition worse.

I mean deafblind people can find ways to socialize these days.

I like some fruit. I like grapes and strawberries. It’s a lot more complicated than you think.

I mean, she wasn't dying, but it was pretty obvious her diet was no good from the grey pallor of her skin to the greasy hair. People need vegetables!

My son has similar dietary issues and he also has autism. He goes through phases where he's willing to try lots of new foods (but he doesn't like most of them) then phases where he drops stuff out of his diet seemingly overnight.

So am a very picky eater and I knew it wouldn’t be good for my health, so from the age of 12 I started taking multi-vitamins on my own.

For those who don’t understand, being picky is not a choice and I wish I wasn’t.  Food in general causes me much anxiety.

I mean, my mum noticed I had a very restrictive diet (probably for reasons similar to this condition) and had me on multivitamins. They were these chalky strawberry things and I didn’t like them (I only liked the gummy ones) but she gave them anyway because my fruit and veg intake as a child despite her best efforts

I have this condition. It’s a common symptom of autism, as in my case. I hope this boy can find a way to cope with his condition and I hope he gets tested for autism.

Politically incorrect opinion coming up, but hear me out.

EMOTIONAL SUPPORT ANIMALS ARE NOT SERVICE ANIMALS AND ARE NOT PROTECTED BY THE ADA.

Because when people think of tacos, they think of Ohio native LeBron James.

You hereby “order” companies to look at alternatives to China? Putting aside the dictatorial nature of that statement, WE ALREADY ARE BECAUSE OF YOUR TARIFFS YOU BLOATED ORANGE BUFFOON!

Of course it’s different. The Popeye’s chicken sandwich is perfectly fine with LGBTQ people having all the same rights and privileges as heterosexual people.

None of those sold out. There’s a difference between seeing a few blog posts about a new sandwich and store managers having to come up with strategies to handle the long lines.

I can’t imagine a reason they’d drop it at this point. When was the last time there was this sort of universal hype/acclaim for a fast-food item, especially one from Popeyes (and I love Popeyes)?

I admire this man’s commitment to provide chicken sandwiches to the hungry masses.

I just had one about thirty minutes ago. It’s my fourth one in the last two weeks, so you might say I like em. This is the first time I’ve been though where Popeye’s drive through had traffic backed up into the street, and stayed that way the entire hour of my lunch break. Bear in mind this is a town of about 70k

Popeyes being out of the sandwich is the gods’ way of telling you that you should order a four-piece spicy with a biscuit, red beans and rice, and a lovely beverage of your choice.
