He’s probably spending all his time in the pause menu trying to find the 60 fps performance mode option that doesn’t exist.

Well, I was really just referring to the only two comments at the time being “this thing sucks/this thing doesn’t suck”. The duality of man there gave me a good laugh.

If they notice you making good comments

I was as ungreyed member here for years, then i said something critical of an article (believe it was one of kenneth shepards) and I suddenly ended up back in the greys with no explanation.

Just wanted to say thanks to the Kotaku comments section for this chuckle.

Yeah I’ve heard lots of great things about. I’ve got a copy of the FFX/X-2 HD collection for my PlayStation TV floating around somewhere so I should really give it a shot.

Bravely Default too.  That game is so Final Fantasy, its practically a spinoff.

I think the logic is that games like Revenant Wings and Crisis Core (while narratively a sequel and prequel, respectively) are spin-offs in terms of gameplay whereas X-2 and 13-2 are more straightforward gameplay sequels???

Yes it is,  final fantasy 14 proved it can be done a decade ago at this point.

This angle about CGI to try to go after Sony is odd considering Microsoft has been as bad as any publisher historically about not including in-game footage, and worse than most about delays/cancellations. In-game cinematics don’t really help either. So for them to not include game footage in most of their trailers for

Some people were expecting big AAA announcements or gameplay footage from previously announced AAA games (like Wolverine). Spider-Man 2 didn’t generate much excitement because, being the third entry in the series, it was very much a known quantity. People saw the footage and thought “yup, that’s a Spider-Man sequel.”

Genuine question: for IV through VI, why wouldn't the SNES/SFC originals be the definitive versions?

You’re talking about Sarah.

If they didn’t use Photoshop then you could still see the crane and wires...

I hope Kinja didnt make this the size of a monitor...

Yeah, people expecting this “remaster” to be optimized simply because of an engine change is naïve. The devs managed to make Ark run poorly on UE4 so I’m pretty sure they’ll be able to make it run poorly on UE5 as well. I wouldn’t be surprised if it runs even worse, as many of the optimizations they made for UE4 will

Or God(or the collective will of the conforming populous given form that the game keeps calling a god who’s last four protectors are angels…so yeah it’s another JRPG where you fight God at the end.). It’s still awesome

Everything here is apparently published without review. If it was, there wouldn’t be so many typos.

Between spoiling major plot points in titles and setting up strawmans in articles, seems to be a free-for-all. Do better Kotaku.

He’s dead.  Also, fuck off with calling this homophobia... they have no reason to bring Akechi back just because he was your favorite character.  There is no reason to equate that to the hatred and violence people have against homosexuals...
