Whoa, hang on, I hope I’m misreading the meaning of what you said. What you find gross is that a 14-year-old girl is “angling for a kiss and tell”?! How about we agree that teenagers are going to have crushes on adults, and sometimes be flattered by romantic attention from them (if the OK! story contains even a speck

They probably can’t afford her. She’s Scarlett Witch in the Marvel movies. She’s also busy having fun with Tom Hiddleston.

I work with a family member of this girl. The instagram messages are real. I have seen them.

Yeah, she has a history of representing women in high-profile sexual harassment cases, and that makes her very unpopular.

Uhh, lots of people said some very pointed things about it when it was (is) Kylie here in the comments. I don’t see how that changes anything, here. And who the fuck cares if this girl DOES want to be famous? That still doesn’t make it okay for a 25 year old man to be sexually grooming her. That is never okay.

I poked around online a little bit to find out some more info about this whole situation and it seems like Ok! framed it as she sought Tyga out and initiated the whole thing. She’s instagram famous (50K followers) so it makes sense that the youths could tell who she was by the blurred picture. After the story ran a

The cast of Fuller House needs to get over the Olsen Twins not wanting to put money in Candace Cameron’s pocket. They’re grown ass adults that didn’t have a choice to be on that show when they were babies. They moved on. Recast the part and shut up already. I’m sure there’s lots of female twins who would kill for a

It does seem sort of amateur. I can see not pushing very hard for them to be on the show, because any realistic person planning it would realize that neither has shown much interest in acting in a long time, but the press would have been so much better if they’d given them a heads up it was in the words as a courtesy.

I might be more inclined to support him if he’d said “retired” rather than “afraid.” The latter isn’t a cool way to characterize someone. Even if that was the word Mary-Kate used, and I’m skeptical it is, that seems like a detail that’s better left private.

Those poor girls look miserable in that photo. The opposite of smizing.

I was more a fan of “How the West Was Fun”.

So their parents basically decided for the Olsens when they were infants that they were going to be on this sitcom. They did extremely lame shows and straight-to-DVDs for a good 20 years of their lives. Sure, it made them billionaires, but now they’ve moved on.

AND the fact that women shouldn’t have to do better than everyone else to achieve the same kind of success. If you have to work twice as hard to get half as far as your male colleagues, that’s indicative of a problem that needs addressing, not a justification for telling other women that they need to work harder.

Yes on what you said on all accounts.

“She was just so good we couldn’t ignore her.”

^^^ So true. Kelly keeps getting an undeserved pass. She may not be Hannity and Trump levels of batshit crazy, but she most definitely has a well-earned seat at the casual racist table. Even when she tries to use Oprah to demonstrate she really does have a black friend y’all it comes off so wrong.

And to attempt to co-opt Oprah!! I’m not even being sarcastic, I fucking love Oprah and find it as offensive that Megyn considers her a role model as I do that Ted Cruz and I share a favorite movie. I’m hoping Oprah pulls a Patinkin and is all “NOPE” about being name-checked here. Blegh. “Get to the table and then do

“But there were many more low moments, including handing the megaphone to those promoting factually challenged Muslim-baiting. Then there is her ability to manufacture shocking voter fraud out of thin air. .... her reporting resulted in death threats for school board members—all for a misleading Pledge of Allegiance

I can’t even think about Megyn Kelly without getting angry. Ms. “maternity leave is a handout, except for when I need it.” ugh. I seriously hate her. And to be completely, over-sharingly honest, I hate all women like her. All the Megyn Kellys of the world who know very well what patriarchy is and how it hurts us all,

Her one on one feminism reminds me of a conversation I had with a GOP friend, who’s anti-union, anti-welfare, etc. Long story short, he understood the necessity of a social safety net when it’s applied to people who he knows; he just doesn’t trust everybody else to use it appropriately.
