Were? We still do them. Me, husband, toddler. I might get an extra one this year, because I'm expecting and all.

More like painter of light his ass up.

I must know a lot of really dumb people, because they never seem to get it that easily (I usually end up diving into the exceptions for private entities performing government functions, etc.).

I love that she doesn't seem to get the joke, but points for the sarcasm anyway.

Bring on the First Amendment violation claims. Sigh. I get so tired of explaining it.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking...I'm pretty sure no one verified my name on Google+, although it was actually my name.

I wish I could represent these girls for free in a civil trial (if they even do that in NZ? I don't know...). I would love to take these jokers down.

There are so many terrible things happening here.

I love this for a work outfit, but it doesn't seem like it's formal enough to match all the lovely long gowns. But I guess if camo pants are acceptable...

What is even happening here?

It is quite expensive. I could only afford it because I had a scholarship for undergrad. Now that I am still paying for law school, I think I probably would have been better served saving it and putting it towards that instead, but, you know...19. I had zero financial sense at that age.

I changed universities my sophomore year and joined a sorority. I was fully aware that I was paying for friends, but it seemed like a pretty convenient deal. I liked that the social stuff was pre-planned and I didn't have to work hard to make connections. 10 years later, I'm still good friends with many of my sorority

I was in a large national sorority. There was no one hitting anyone, humiliating one, etc. In fact, pledges weren't even allowed to do the regular house chores that all of the members did out of fear that it would be seen as "hazing." No one drew outlines on my fat, etc. It was all very, very tame. I have no idea what

I was so confused by this until I saw "Florida and Alabama."

Bingo! I have it now!

She looks a lot more like the other sister here. You know, the one that starts with a "K."

This is really the only part of this wedding I'm interested in seeing. Please let there be 12 angel dogs!!!

I'm still trying to figure out how black-boots make someone Ophelia-like exactly. I think I'm missing something and I'm ok with that.

The starlings disagree and pity your pedestrian tastes.

I'm so glad to hear this. I'm struggling right now with a 2 year old who refuses to wear anything that isn't frilly and covered in sparkles. I don't know how to handle it.
