I don’t agree with your take on CPS at all. I think about not quite half the time they err on the side of caution, sure-possibly as they should. 

Threatening to call the police when someone is literally hurting you or being repeatedly abusive is way WAY different than using it like say, Amy Cooper did. You did nothing wrong there at all, and probably gave him more than enough warnings even though he probably deserved none. Please don’t feel bad for what you did.

*I* thought the OP was quite nice and empathetic, actually... which is hard to do when those of us without kids are SICK TO DEATH of the endless complaints from parents about “wahhh, I have to actually watch and teach my kids, this wasn’t the deal!” “Wahh my kids are driving me crazy, pity me!”.

As, unfortunately, a not-so-old-at-all lady with a partial that I don’t wear alone because it doesn’t fit great, I forgot to pop it in (because I’ve been alone so much I think) before I went to the store last week... I was SO glad I had a mask on, omg.
