Same! What is that all about?

“Cocktail” soundtrack.
I’d 100% support them trademarking “No can do.”
I honestly don’t worry about “bad influences” getting him into drugs or vandalism or whatever; I know I’ve got that covered, but the pop music thing scares me.
I’m dreading that. When should I expect it?
Awesome, can anyone tell me if it’s possible to home-college my son in 12 years? Thanks.
Nah, you pump the brakes at red lights to rock the car, and blast Radiohead. [Citation: mom of a now-6-yo who loved Radiohead in utero, and still does. Worked every time.]
I thought that headline was hyperbole, and I’m really, really, sad/angry/grossed out that I was wrong.
Seriously, can we get our insurance companies to pay him for mental health services? I’m sorry about your dad. Keep busy, and keep BCOing. That’s what got me through.
I’ve been working really hard all weekend to catch up. :)
So, like an American enchilada, then?
I just pulled a similar move two weeks ago! We were sitting shiva for my husband’s grandfather, and during the minyan (singing Jewish prayers at the house) my husband’s holding the prayer book while his cousin’s wife and I read over his shoulder. At the end of one prayer, he did a subtle jazz hand to cheer us up. We…
I would love that. I’m probably the only one, though.
I’m 36, New England, and I’ve been to way to many catholic and Jewish funerals. The only casket free one was my father’s, because I planned it.
#2 happened at my nephew’s funeral. Never mind that he and his mother were atheists, his father’s uncle was a priest, and took the opportunity to go on and on about Jesus, with barely a mention of his great nephew in the coffin in front of him. Still pissed about that one.
Hi Colin, I just wanted to thank you for BCO. My father-in-law passed away last Monday morning, and I spent all week making phone calls, driving people around, making arrangements, serving people, and sleeping on my living room floor. It was the week from hell. A few times each day, though, I was able to sneak away…
Whoo boy, there’s a lot going on here. I’ll address the “rice and beans and meat” aspect: Who DOESN’T include those ingredients? Isn’t that the very definition of a burrito? ReallyWithSethAndAmy.gif
And here I was thinking that Rachel Dolezal would be the offensive Halloween costume of 2015.
Yayyyyyyy! But now I’m bummed about Silvia Silvia.
I’m still pissed that mariachi girl didn’t go through. That’s some bullshit. Best singer this season.
