My takeaway both from the reveal of Billy’s father in S2 and his past in S3 was that it explains in large part why he is, but it in no way excuses his behavior. I felt the same about his final gasp of anything human in the last episode. Forgetting everything that he did in Season 3 when under the influence of the Mind

I dunno, I’d like to know why Nathan wants to be best buds with Ed. He certainly cannot get the message that the guy disdains him. I thought Adam Scott was great tonight, from bonding with his daughter to reading Madeline to filth. I did like that she was beyond groveling and trying to defend whatever they have left,

Along with pay equity, playing conditions are another big item that needs to be equitable. It infuriates me how much the women’s teams get shunted to playing on turf (which is cheaper to maintain but is associated with a higher risk of injury than with natural grass) while the men play on grass.

Let’s just name Rapinoe, the next head of USA Soccer and future FIFA President.

No other way this could end. The US team have been dominant and unstoppable, they didn’t concede a single match. Looking forward to Rapinoe holding the limelight as USA’s biggest soccer star while pissing off Trump and his miserable band of deplorables.

I would kill to find out what Rapinoe and Macron spoke about during their extended handshake.

Support the NWSL! All 23 of these champions play stateside. The NWSL just signed a tv deal with ESPN for the rest of the season and Budweiser is now an official sponsor. Not everyone in the league are allocated by USSF, in fact, bunned goddess Ali Krieger isn’t even allocated and she subbed in for an injured Kelley

Yaaaaaasssss Ladies! That game was nerve-wracking as hell and the Netherlands goalkeeper was amazing. Well played to all! The US Women’s Team gets the trophy, and I get 90 minutes of pain-reducing endorphins.  Thank you sports Goddesses!

I still have (had?) MoviePass, and honestly, it’s paid for itself with the amount of times I saw movies in the last few months. Saw Far From Home on Tuesday, and now I’m glad I got it in under the deadline. Was hoping to go see Midsommar this weekend, but that’s out of the picture.

I don’t really feel like her novel was that though.... she’s framing her husband for her own murder, no stranger comes out of the bushes or anything like that. I guess you can make the argument that Amy (the main character) used the fact that most women are murdered by someone they know to her advantage, knowing her

I havent read or watched Gone Girl in a while but I can’t remember Nick being seen throwing bloody clothes away. So there goes that theory.

The husband’s attorney is also offering the defense that the wife committed “revenge suicide.” Best theoretical approach since the three completely different exculpatory alibis floated by the dream team in the O.J. Simpson case.

I don’t buy it. I’m no tech genius, but even I know that there is a way to keep the app online while they work on improvements. And they conveniently have to do these upgrades right in the middle of summer movie season?

“...surveillance footage allegedly shows a man appearing to be Fotis Dulos throwing away clothes stained with Jennifer’s blood in multiple trash cans.”

We should all be grateful for George Washington’s courageous seige of Newark Airport! A lot of people don’t know about that battle. But he ended up being a very weak president - only wanted two terms. Sad. For that matter, Benedict Arnold was treated very unfairly; NO COLLUSION!

You think Gwyneth would be interested in a $50 crystal?

I suspect that one reason they cast a black Ariel is because they realized that the vaguely Caribbean feel to the ocean world (and the vaguely Calypso beats to some of the songs) would seem less problematic if they had black people as the ruling cast of this aquatic Caribbean undersea nation.

Yet another gruesome reminder that the single most dangerous thing we all do is drive. Pay the fuck out of attention to not only what you are doing, but what everyone else is too.

It’s not Tom Holland’s fault, but the MCU Spider-Man has been a major letdown for me. He just lacks the necessary emotional weight and relatability — he’s basically a sitcom character. You could easily put him in one of those ABC comedies.

This version of Spider-man has a single parent who is in her mid 50s and still working. So makes sense that they are less cash strapped(plus you can presume it’s a school trip so those are usually much cheaper then just a normal European vacation).
