Thinking about using this “logic”, anyone who ever takes prescription meds while pregnant could be thrown in jail. If giving prescription drugs to the non-prescribee is a crime, then no medication of any type could ever be taken for nine months.  

How does this benefit anyone? The child is fine, the parent acquired the edibles/topicals legally, CPS says everything is fine. What are they hoping to accomplish? Putting a new mom in jail for....?

If they gave the tiniest shit about the baby they’d know that taking it away from its mother would be terribly…
