We better not show them the Onion story about the Abortionplex.
We better not show them the Onion story about the Abortionplex.
All the feminists I've met and talked to in my life have been leaps and bounds more respectful of men than non- or anti-feminists are, simply because they know how toxic gender roles are, and that simply because men are privileged over women doesn't mean they aren't subject to them either. This whole idea of misandry…
I am now going to do the cheap digs I hate when in a real argument. Because this doesn't merit a real argument.
A)I notice Princeton Mom is NOT sporting a wedding band. No man?
B)Nellie Olsen would like her hairstyle back.
What in the world qualifies this woman to talk about anything other than her silly book with its silly views? Are we going to have to deal with her as some kind of "traditional family expert" now?? I just need to know if I should go ahead and stop internetting for the next year.

The rate of REPORTED abuse among married couples is lower than that among couples who are not married. I would be wary of the assumption that abuse itself is lower, when there are very good reasons why such abuse would not be reported (even in the context of, say, an anonymous survey).
I read reactions by Catholics upset that, "again," the press is "going after them." They say that these work camps were the only place that offered the pregnant women any help, so, I guess, we should be grateful. It's like the ostracization the women suffered in their own communities had nothing to do with church…
Let's call it what it really was, a concentration camp for unwed mothers and their children. I do hope we've learned something from this and make sure it never, ever happens again.
It isn't. But the reason those women aren't victims of violence has a lot more to do with socio economic status than marital status specifically.
I don't think that's what the author was implying at all? She said "I'm sick of white guys with an Asian fetish trying to talk it off," not like..."I can't understand why any white man would ever be attracted to an Asian woman ever!"
You can control to whom you're attracted, at least from a physical standpoint. You engage with those people that think you could never be attracted to on a person to person level since they're all individual people. If you are magically able to write off thousands upon thousands of people simply based on a physical…
Being especially attracted to one race outside your own is problematic. The person usually sees the other as an object to fetishize, rather than respect. Besides, it's a red mark, if the person hates his own grouping and refuses to connect in that manner.
" and there is nothing wrong with being especially attracted to one race (you can't control who you're attracted to,) "
I don't know if I agree with this. Many people make these absolutists statements about who they "can" be attracted to and most of the time they mirror the cultural values and prejudices of where ever…
Sadly, I DO have trouble telling white people, specifically males apart.
Lived in Japan, legit heard half of these things — My masterful use of chopsticks, my Japanese skills, being from America meant I owned several guns and shot things (I was constantly reminded by one guy of the Japanese exchange student who was shot in America), and Japanese girls who only dated white guys.
since im all jaded, just like the last one I thought the jokes were obvious and boring, right until the one that I literally laughed out loud at. "I've been really into western religions. I love how they're so angry and uptight. I decorated my whole house with crosses"
Ha! I can't make grilled cheese for shit! See how hurtful stereotypes can be? (I definitely went through a Green Day phase though.)
When I was 19 I watched the movie Malcolm X, and in it, Malcolm does nutmeg in order to kick cocaine while in prison. "What?! A legal way to get high?!" I thought and went straight to the store with my friends. We each ground up a nut each and drank it in lemonade. After sitting around and hour with nothing happening,…
Yeah, I did that too. Except I was watching Grease.
I live in Colorado and irresponsible people like this are really starting to piss me off. The edibles you can get at stores here are much better than any I've been able to make and are a giggly good time for responsible users, but because of incidents like these I fear they won't be sold for much longer. On the…
