When I finally realized half-way through season one that the reason he looked so familiar was that he was one of the stars of Cartoon Network’s sadly short-lived live-action show “Unnatural History,” I was like:

The first season was great! I try to just stop there and pretend Sylar was really and truly dunzo...

The biggest mistake that show made was promising us a future bad-ass sword-wielding Hiro and then NEVER EFFING DELIVERING!

True, but as I was arguing to someone the other day, Batman’s origin can be retold with pretty much a single image whereas Spider-Man’s (and Superman’s and Wonder Woman’s, etc) take a lot of beats. With Bats, you show the dead parents, collapsed child, pearls OR quick shots of horrified faces/gun barrel/screaming

Sadly, trepanning and bleach can’t solve everything.

The end made it for me because I am so not into dreams or hearing about them, thinking about them, etc., that I don’t even like my OWN dreams. I wake up and if I still remember the dream I was having, I sit there and actively think of something else until I can no longer remember the dream.

That’s even more an assault than a neg! YIKES!

OMG Barb, tho. That was 10lbs of squirrelly in a 5lb bag.

I was thinking Megan Mullaly but I think your Patricia Clarkson suggestion won me over.

I was ready to be mad, but you got it all exactly right with this very important list. I was like, “Little girl, Laura Dern, and all the first-wave feminist dinosaur ladies, especially the one that spits on Newman.”

It’s interesting how so many commenters are fake-feminist-girling Ariana Grande over this since she isn’t meeting their stringent standards in dressing like they’d dress, having a known-to-them history of feminist behavior, and is also failing to look or “act” her age.

Thank you for your kind service.

Sorry, I meant the single-season golden slam. Steffi’s the only one to have done that. I think only Agassi, Nadal, and Serena also have career golden slams.

Well, I don’t follow women’s very closely anymore. I was under the impression there were several strong women’s players over the past few years. If not, I stand corrected.

I think that’s part of the point, though, that Serena is still going at and past a point where previous (and some of her peers like my darling Nadal) are getting really bogged down with injuries. It’s sort of expected that 30 is a tipping point and here she is, still dominating.

This is rhetorical (unless someone WANTS to answer) because I can look it up, but reading the chart, my first response was: What the fuck is Harbinger and why are there three movies planned for it already?

Steffi is the only one to achieve a golden slam and she did that during the most difficult (that is, full of peer competitors and idiotic family drama) part of her career, but I would say that Serena is at least equally the best, and considering how play has changed, she likely is the greatest ever in the same way

Ever since the super-high point that was Day of the Doctor, I feel as if Moffat has been trying to personally recruit me to the anti-Moffat ranks.

I’m sure the 50 other replies have already told you this, but Rue is black in the fucking book.

Yeah, well, I don’t recall ever hearing about roving cats actually running down and and then gnawing a man’s foot off as has actually happened here in Chicago, so I’m just going to call it a draw.
