I'm not sure they are exclusively homicide, though. They asked if the burglary counted as a major crime (not the wording, but that idea) before they'd talk to the guy. And haven't they done missing persons and stuff like that in the past?

Now playing

I am dredging this back up because at about the 2:30 mark on this video, Neil DeGrasse Tyson explains what you were probably trying to explain in a way that nearly converts me to calling myself an agnostic, so OKAY! I retract all my "silly" remarks. I still think that the two are pretty much saying the same thing,

You are giving that joke too much credit. You are fan-fictioning that joke.

How was that making fun of women? It was a stupid, lazy joke that basically shoved me back out of the clubhouse right at the end of enjoying a geeky thing. It's what happens all the time. It wasn't making fun of women; it was dismissing them from the conversation altogether.

Yeah, they are definitely the worst.

It would be much better than the actual New 52 because the animated universe creators care about story and character and consistency and are mindful of their entire audience.

That was really fun! I stand with Agent Benson in hopes he gets the gig.

I so wanted to like it, but it is a terrible, terrible film. And some of my favorite films are terrible. I just couldn't with that one, in spite of Amy and Matthew. Glad to know you made the LEAP! HA!

The hotness! It BURNS! (which... y'know... makes sense...)

There is also THAT! I see Ezra has decided to go the Johnny Depp route. Hope he finds his comb and beard trimmer soon, but he's still pretty hot.

Yeah, Paris. Slightly-younger-than-you kids these days!

I need to watch this whole thing again with film noir soundtrack music playing in the background. It looked like (possibly kind of bored) friends devolving into silliness to me (not uncommon on MTV or life) rather than the dark silencing of Emma's thoughts on Olive Garden. *so many layers* Was he a obnoxious? Yeah, a

She plays the main character's sister.

I love this cast. They are clearly having so much fun doing their press tour. When you get the rest of them in there (Nina Dobrev and Mae Whitman), it's even crazier. That set must've been a riot. Love the book. I can't wait to see the movie.

Well, the one in the middle is the actual star of the movie and the one on the far end is a pretty brilliant young actor (He played the titular Kevin in "We Need to Talk about Kevin" with Tilda last year) who plays Emma's step-brother and the cast has been on this press tour for a few weeks and the entire cast

Well, it was a very warm late winter/spring this year when they were filming.

This is a fund-raiser they've been working on for some time. People are donating for a chance to have dinner with Obama, Jay-Z, and Beyonce. It isn't just a random night out. Not that I don't think Jay-Z and Beyonce aren't pretty awesome in their own ways. Perhaps they should just include Neil as a bonus guest.

I'm enjoying your fan-fiction of this woman's minor run-in with inept vandals. Do go on.

*homer simpson whisper*

No, but it's good you're here. It wouldn't be a thread on the internet if someone didn't try to unnecessarily debunk it.
