and her physical appearance is more flawless—-make-up, hair and jauntier outfits. she's Ubermensch Mother!

YES. beautifully observed. Dylan melted my heart, he bravely loves Norman—-in a way he's only the best qualities of Norma and Caleb, tragic baby of that violence. i think specifically of Caleb's creepy albeit earnest attempts to make amends in the previous seasons—-the misguided but dogged hope to reunite with Norma

beautifully said—-for both Rihanna and Goddess Cicely Tyson :)

i did too! i know everyone keeps slamming her but i thought her scenes with Freddie were awesome. and her energy was different enough to coincide with Norman's understanding of his illness that him sending her away was believe-able—-she was an actual woman not a girl and sexy and honest, not so much coy, baby girl

LOVE. Can we make this happen?

TOTALLY saw Perkins in the second interview with Sheriff in Motel lobby. i actually did a double take like, WHOA, Perkins reincarnated in Highmore's face. nicely done, Freddie!

I keep yelling at Jane on the screen in every convo, tell them what the child psych said! she needs that authority to back her up with everyone looking down at her and Ziggy, her class and single mom status makes her vulnerable—-she needs that back up.

agreed. i find him very watchable and i have had a hard time getting into Scandal this season, e.g., the Cyrus in Jail episode killed me.

co-sign one of the twins did it and jane's past. think hippo losing a limb with the twins and being scared of t.v. is evidence the twins are internalizing the violence at home and acting out.

amen. Laurel raging out at everyone with extreme viciousness, like she and Wes were the couple of all time rang false.
i do like the poetic justice that it is SHE who is responsible for his death (do hope some of that comes back on her next season)/the phoniness part of this whole season was Wes and Laurel's romance,

totally agree. it was a different dynamic for the show but delightful. all the actors went in and although silly, was kind and funny/

i actually love Rhonda. she is silliness in the extreme, but she also shows life with less hand wringing self examination…

beautifully written. this was Michael's first neighborhood, a new concept, basically the R&D in the corporate business bureaucracy of hell.

adoreable

i watched that one a million times over.

word on all of this. also not great fight choreography in Rittenhouse showdown when Rufus comes in and saves everyone but then Wyatt and Flynn do all the fisticuffs and have a nod to each other like they were the primo ass kickers. um, hello????

Right on. Mythology isn't new and the whole mystique of Bonnie and Clyde was largely their own creation combined with Depression era news coverage—Bonnie's poem that is read throughout this episode is her own construction of American anti-heroes—-created by the outlaws themselves and endorsed by popular culture.

Loved Karina Lombard's Nonhelema. She's does so much with her presence and beauty. Short scene in other wise bottle episode, but thought that could have had cool potential to go deeper with Shawnee worldviews and Indigenous conceptions of time and space—-from there, the writers could have played with time travel,

i think we'll have to agree to disagree—-she was sharing sensual intimacy at the expense of her relationship with her bf, culminating in kissing at Sookie's wedding when Dean was at the same ceremony. it was a noticeable level of "eros" rather than "philos" or sisterly/friend love (your examples of Lane, Lorelai,

fight at graveyard—old reflex.
