I broke up with a black man because he said he only dated Hispanic and white women because black women are too angry and don't know how to treat their men. What an asshole! That's being obtuse. Race IS an indicator of traits and values, especially from homogenous nations such as Japan, Sweden, etc. To say otherwise is so disingenuous. In the US, we have this cultural kneejerk reaction rejecting idea of even seeming racist by denying race as being important but the truth is, it is.

Attraction is pretty instinctual. I'd say that people might be able to shut it down or deny it with some prejudice beliefs, and maybe they would be attracted to all races if they didn't have the bullshit in the way. But I don't think anyone can force attraction on people they don't desire

Culture is very much related to race, especially for people of color. It's normal human behavior to gravitate towards those whom they feel greater similarity with.
