Came to say the same thing, but glad to see someone else already pointed it out.

Fucking love the protest sign.
And the Lord said, “Tear children from their parents, throw your neighbors out of your nation, and sow terror among those with darker skin than you - later.”
He’s going to say people self deported because they’re scared of him. Despite no evidence.
This is just straight up abuser tactics. Threaten to do a horrible thing and then call it off and reap the rewards of preventing the horrible things he himself threatened. He’s not being beaten back, we’re not preventing anything, this is all a fucking charade to maintain control.
And by waiting two weeks, he can tout the upcoming (a few days later) beautiful mass deportations at his July 4 Nuremberg rally address to the nation.
I don’t think this needs pointing out, but here I go: this is all theater ala The Wall.

AOC has really impressed me. It’s not that I was skeptical, but having dipped a foot into the political world I knew a lot of otherwise well-meaning politicians were, for lack of a better word, a bit vapid. She’s showed a lot of depth and strength and I really respect that. I think there’s more young Democrats in the…
