There’s a Dilbert strip about this, where Dogcart pays some dude 10k to wallow in a mud puddle. Why I have such a vivid memory of this, I cannot explain.

Thank you! Now can ID that I recognized her from New Girl, could not place it

Help me out — who is the lady between Rashida and Taylor

Ah, makes more sense for long distances to self-appoint dd — I take a lot of 3-5 mile rides, like $10 each way. Also in LA basically every single person is an uber driver so it’s absurdly convenient, 2 minute wait at most.

Does she seem annoyed? I’d say more amused

I mean... I live in LA, everyone here has a car, myself included, and I take an uber 2-5 times a week. What about when you’re drinking?

Great to have you back your honor

Repeat of the RNC but with “We are the chompians”

Because she likely knew she was on speaker phone (because we all know when we are on speaker) and that there were other people in the room, there is no expectation of privacy for the statements made in the call, which is what underlies these recording laws. It’s like, if you are yelling something on the sidewalk,

You’re being dumb, these are famous people, of course I don’t “know” them — that’s how pop culture works, is we all get to form opinions.

K

She says in the video “... saying you made me famous” and we don’t see the part directly before so my guess is she did hear at least part of that, or at the very least the idea of that being the message was discussed. Also she initially denied the phone call entirely, which casts doubt on her honesty as to any of it.

Because Kanye acted incredibly respectfully by asking her about it and she lied directly saying she’d say she knew about it, and then threw them under the bus. She’s built her career on playing the victim in every aspect of her life, and now she’s using them to continue to play the victim in order to build her own

This is the most upsetting part of the whole thing honestly

Agreed, I have come around on her almost a complete 180 in the past 3-4 years, and same (in the opposite direction) on Taylor. As soon as that GQ article came out my reaction was “Well, Kim is many things, but she’s not a liar” which... considering 5 years ago I sincerely hated her is pretty astonishing

But her objections up until this have been that she was not informed her name would be invoked, that he was taking credit for her fame, that she was “humiliated” — implying that the sex part is what she was objecting to (and in the video she does say “it did kind of make me famous” so that implies that there was even

Lawyer here... yes technically recording someone without their knowledge is against the law but a) it’s only a $2500 fine, I think Kanye and Kim will be happy to pay up if required to, and b) there are a LOT of loopholes involved here... this was a video of him on the phone with her, not a direct recording of a phone

I bought mine as an adult of eBay like 6 years ago and man what a payoff could not have seen this sequel* coming

Oh my god.

I didn’t end up wearing it and I regret it :(
