You do realize that the “fans” basically ran George Lucas out of the movie business with their seething, obnoxious hatred, right? What happened to Kelly Marie Tran was vile, but it’s a drop in the ocean compared to the amount of hatred dumped on the person who created Star Wars in the first place.

It’s almost as nasty as the backlash against the Prequels, where you had “fans” saying that George Lucas “raped” their childhood, praying for Lucas to die and attacking him for how he looks. Then you have the creeps who make hour-long YouTube videos about why they hate Lucas and his movies while talking about humping

Do people realize just how smugly stupid they sound when they claim Star Wars isn’t science fiction? It’s like saying John Wayne cowboy movies aren’t really westerns.

For the same reason a total stranger might be willing to cut my hair: They’re paid to do it.

Ah, blow it out your ass.

Good riddance -fuck ‘em!

Allow me to return the favor:

I’m still not convinced we needed this movie...

Our Pacer didn’t have that feature!

I don’t have chapter and verse on hand, but I’ve seen enough episodes of Entertainment Tonight and similar shows where they interview an actress and ask her about doing the nude scene in the upcoming movie (clever advertising, no?) and it’s almost as though they were handed the same standard-issue talking points -some

I was talking about the way the term has all too often become a magic word (like “empowerment” and “liberating”) used to rationalize doing a nude scene. The fact that in some cases, the actress is in fact being “vulnerable”, “empowered” or “liberated” doesn’t change this.

Think of it as getting over one’s own fears. Like going skydiving when you’re afraid of heights, let alone flying.

Yeah, it’s one of those euphemisms like “vulnerable” used to explain the showing of an actress’ tits.

Not even on TV?

It reminds me of what H.L. Mencken wrote almost a hundred years ago when he described a misogynist as a man who hates women almost as much as they hate one another.

So the dastardly Russians tricked this Trump supporter into...

Funny how you single out two Jewish candidates for abuse.

Now playing

As Nancy Cordes asked John Podesta (from Clinton’s campaign) on Face the Nation:

By your logic, anyone who clicks, “likes” or RTs a message is fair game for this sort of Jesse Waters-style stalking/trolling.

Punctuation: Use it.
