Ha, I was waiting for that!

As much as I have many criticisms of her acting style, I commend her for her quite varied filmography. It seems like she’s always choosing interesting projects, or at least something different, like Ghost World, The Other Boleyn Girl, We Bought A Zoo, Hail Caesar! I’m not a fan of all her films, but I think part of

This are simple but great. Digging the more candid shots, like Momochi and Mago’s.

Also, Christian Siriano is a national treasure. He’s not as big as some design houses, which literally have armies of seamstresses, but he’s more than happy to accommodate Leslie Jones at the last minute. Top that!

Exactly. Who’s to say that this behavior won’t repeat with their surviving children? It’s outrageous. Actually, they should’ve been sentenced to 5 years, the length of how old Ezekiel would’ve been if he lived.

They each should have been sentenced for the length of Ezekiel’s life, 19 months. At least.

THANK YOU. My love for Tears for Fears will forever burn bright, interpretive dancing and all.

Yup, he was always #4 for me. Great singer though.

I completely understand that, and to be honest, I haven’t grown out of feeling that way myself. But it’s hard for me to feel for Kylie because I think she’s making it even worse for girls her age by setting a horrible example. She is a product of her wealthy and fame-obsessed upbringing, so she has the means to change

Lolita was on Esquire’s list of Books Every Man Should Read. I remember Rebecca Solnit getting shit on because she had the audacity to criticize the list for including it AND getting mansplained on how she missed the point of Lolita. UGH.

And here I thought I’ve heard all of this guy’s word vomit.

Same. She’s 18 right now. Which means she had all this done when she was about 16-17. All I cared about at that age was the school volleyball tournament, getting into college, and what free concerts I can go to with my boyfriend.

Thanks. It’s odd the things that remain in your head even after a long time. I’ve been in a better, safer place for a while. I hope you are too.

Can I say, the late ‘80s-early ‘90s smooth sax intro remains a constant pleasure.

I’m friends with someone who believes in and tried to convince me of “work shorts.” My response was “That’s because you work for a food truck, not in an office!!!”

Aw, cheers to that! Really, I appreciate that a lot. I’ve followed your writing since your Project Runway recap days, and I still do. “Pessimistic” wasn’t exactly a criticism, but there’s a lot of nostalgia for me that’s associated with fourfour. It’s unreasonable to expect our favorite writers (or any creative

Wow, this brought me back. Also, I miss fourfour, when Rich wasn’t as pessimistic.

Aw, that’s amazing! ...But what is UP with those hot pink monstrosities on those poor ladies in the back???

I agree! But in my age group at the moment, there are at least two girls who look like this at all of the events I’ve been to recently. At the last charity event I worked (at the Ritz-Carlton, mind you), I was slaving away in a pencil skirt and a group of PR girls stomp through with outfits like that one.
