I was adopted as a child, but I found out a few years ago that my birth mother suffered from severe PPD, and was a factor in my adoption. At your pediatric appointments they screened you for PPD? That would be so much more effective than having women waiting until their 6 week check up with their OB to diagnose. I often wonder if I had started getting help earlier if it would have gotten as severe as it did.

I got drunk one night and started yelling at some guy because he kept spewing on about how he needs to “cleanse” and the benefits. Finally I snapped and was like YOUR BODY IS MADE FOR THAT JUST EAT SOME FIBER, AND POOP.
