Question: Did you have an opportunity to actually remove the doors from the Bronco? I read in early specs that they were about 10 lbs heavier than jeep’s. I have a wrangler unlimited, and they’re pretty unwieldy already... But I could see Ford making up for that extra weight with easier installation.

It’s also worth noting that the Bronco’s front suspension is better suited to avoid Jeep’s trademark death wobble

Now let’s talk about Ford bungling yet another product launch. They did their reveal and took reservations a year ago. They launched in the middle of a pandemic, knowing their hard top supplier hadn’t even finished building their plant. Add in management issues and staffing problems at said plant, and it’s a disaster.

I really hope Ford launches in Simpson edition because, um, Australia has the Simpson Desert. And sole colour choice is orange. But I imagine the aforesaid Ford execs might not support this idea.

I’m not sure how much I thought an F1 car weighed, but 1,400 pounds and north of 750 horsepower? My brain just bent itself in half.

Fabric seats on higher trim level cars. It’s warmer in the winter, cooler in the summer, doesn’t require maintenance, and the bolsters don’t look like shit from cracking after three years. There is nothing better than the plaid in a GTI but they have ditched that on all but the base model.

Most of the time it just happens again. I like to putt in the slow lane, going 5 over.  My days of hauling ass are over. I like to set the cruise and enjoy the drive.

Hear me out here: sliding doors.

An advanced menu with complete customization of anything digital. Adjust your wiper intermittence, your blinker length (for those with a temporary blinker by moving the stalk halfway), speed sensitive volume/wipers acceleration, screen brightness sensitivity. And with EVs the pedal, pick where your deadzone is and how

A feature most people would call frivolous, the heated steering wheel. I’ve had problems with my hands since I was in my 20's and they get worse when it gets cold. A heated steering wheel can make all the difference sometimes. Unfortunately, in my V60, I would have had to get the option package that includes all of

Im with you that you dont need to go all out but I like my windows down and even driving a car with crank windows back in my teens hated having to reach over for the passenger window.

I also appreciate that they digital menus tend to have pictures and a more thorough description. It just seemed like I was coming across restaurants that had less and less description of what I was ordering which was frustrating.

I’ll tell you what it is.

How could no one suggest an early oughts Monte Carlo? Slap some Dale stickers on it and NASCAR till your hearts content.

There are so many reasons I want to keep masks around - the complete lack of colds and flu during the pandemic sure has been revealing.

Meh, I’d still get the Jimny.

I love all the people complaining that the cars they really love and miss were the one’s they really thought were pieces of shit when they were driving them. But if the modern cars they buy today were to behave in the same manner, they’d be livid. The whole ”I can’t emotionally connect with my car because it has good

You are being a NY pizza snob.

Have to say, I am loving the QR code ordering protocol. Probably safer too, as staff don’t have to have as many interactions with random people, especially given how many stupid people there are out there.

Are you sure a truck is what you need if you were worried about shovelling snow off it?
