A good steering wheel that does not fly off when I drive it.
Chicagoan here. Our property taxes suck and our city has its problems, but urban planning isn’t one of them.
Probably a good thing that it can “only” do the quarter in 9.2 (which is still insane for a street legal car).
I’ve owned a wrangler sport unlimited for eight years, the last five of which we’ve been a single car family (we live in Chicago, and decided to downsize and get rid of our Acura MDX). It’s also a soft top.
I need to check that out. And if anyone needs other tiding over, check out this quasi-making of the Car Focus Group sketch...WITH RUBEN.
It would seem that your Rube Goldberg clip is also the perfect invitation to get Weezer’d (which I still can’t believe is actually a thing).
God damn, 81 years old and still so fucking cool. I saw him live about 20'ish years ago. Great show, and just a really funky mix of fans. Octogenarians ands mohawk’ed punks. Good times.
The terms “politically correct”, “woke”, “social justice warrior”, etc. can be a bit frustrating. They’re really just synonyms or plays on the concept of be kind, caring, and respectful.
Check out the History Channel’s “The Food That Built America” documentary episode on KFC and Colonel Sanders. The scene where the Colonel gets in a gun fight with his rival; with a pump action shotgun and his restaurant managers/thugs by his side is just awesome. It’s a little Tarantino-esque; and supposedly and…
It’s the handles with the bicycle grips that make them safe.
I have some weird resentment towards Hateful Eight.
How are frunks gimmicky (full disclosure...I’ve never owned or driven a car with one)? I just pulled up images of the frunks on the Model S and Mach-E, and they both look like they could hold a small suit case or a couple duffle bags. If I had an SUV like a Mach-E, I could also see using the frunk for smaller errands.…
I hadn’t heard that yet, but it doesn’t surprise me at all. I’d hate to see a Dimebag Darrell situation.
Maybe it’s just me, but this post definitely had a “paid content” feel to it. None of the usual Takeout wit or acerbic musings; and nary a word of criticism towards the golden mouse.
I always feel like airport food takes up valuable space that can be filled with other, better, non-airport food at my destination (be it leaving, or coming back).
There’s a lot of issues with the Florida law. First, and most simply, from what I’ve read it doesn’t even take effect until July 1st, and this concert is scheduled for before then. That’s one of the reasons the promoter decided to do this.
Currently a one car family (Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sport). Any two cars:
TBR kicks ass. Had a ticket for their Chicago show (with Brendan Kelly) that got cancelled by Covid-19. Wish I was in Florida for this (but also quite okay that I’m not in Florida).
